Monkey Thorn Guest Lodge & Wellness Spa is nestled on the outskirts of White River, a quaint town located within easy reach of Kruger National Park.

The lodge offers accommodation in a selection of 9 private guest suites, each with a private patio and which can accommodate 2 guests.

The open-plan suites are each furnished with a king-size bed, which can be converted to twin beds, and each has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The unit has a coffee station equipped with coffee- and tea-making facilities and a mini bar fridge. Additional facilities include a TV as well as a cosy couch in the living area, air-conditioning, a safe, a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Each suite has its own wood-burning fireplace for cosy winter getaways.

The main building features a restaurant, a guest lounge with a bar area, and a large patio where guests can unwind. There is a wellness centre where guests can enjoy beauty treatments and therapies. In addition to this, there is a full gym with cardiovascular equipment and weights. Other wellness experiences and treatments include, hot tub, ice bath, sauna, flotation tank, Ozone detox chamber and massage chairs.

There is a solar-heated saltwater pool and a pool lapa. There is a fully automated backup generator, so guests won't be affected by load shedding.

The lodge is located 25 km from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and 35 km from the Numbi Gate to Kruger National Park. The property is also within easy reach of a wide variety of attractions set along the Panorama Route.
