Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve is situated 60 km outside the town of Graaff-Reinet and is home to numerous endangered species that have been successfully rehabilitated and reintroduced into South Africa’s malaria-free Great Karoo. Accommodation is offered in 3 historic and beautifully restored Cape Dutch houses.

Camdeboo Manor and Courtyard Manor each offer accommodation in individual rooms. Each manor house offers a communal lounge with a TV with selected DStv channels. Hillside Manor is a 3-bedroom manor house with its own private swimming pool, ideal for family and group bookings. Pepper Tree Cottage is situated in a secluded part of Camdeboo Manor’s beautiful gardens and offers a romantic setting for honeymooners or couples seeking privacy.

Mount Camdeboo Pods are situated in a secluded part of the Camdeboo Plains in Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve. The eco-friendly pods blend in seamlessly with the natural landscape, providing comfort while leaving a light environmental footprint.
Accommodation is offered in 2 pods. Each pod contains a queen-size bed that looks out onto the Camdeboo Plains, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet, and a kitchenette with tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests have access to Wi-Fi internet access, a private wood-burning hot tub, and a private boma and fire pit.

The pods are unfenced, allowing guests to enjoy the unique opportunity to be fully immersed in nature.
Mount Camdeboo Pods offer the perfect escape for couples, honeymooners, and wildlife lovers.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. The wholesome meals are seasoned with herbs grown on the reserve, and the ingredients are brought in fresh from neighbouring farms and suppliers.

Guests can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, as well as other activities and attractions in the surrounding area. These include swimming, a historical Graaff-Reinet tour, 4x4 trails, nature walks, Valley of Desolation Sundowner Tour, Umasizakhe Township Tour, bushmen rock art and Gondwanaland Fossil Tour, and Nieu Bethesda and Owl House Tour.
