Restful. Very nice place to spend the weekend. Nice and quiet and private. The place has the cutest cat and dog on the premises. I would highly recommend the place. The coffee just needs to be changed a bit now and then. Luckily we brought our own coffee. My husband and I will definitely stay at Vincent's again.

Not nice. The unit I booked was dark, damp and super depressing, so I asked to be moved. Vince very kindly upgraded me to a sunnier room, but I still found the place a bit sad and neglected. The mattresses need replacing as they are too soft. It is also very noisy as it is on the main road from Nelspruit.

Hi Mandy, Thank you for your review. Apologies, we normally air the rooms, especially with all the rain, but because I was away, unfortunately, this was not done. I personally tried the mattresses after your comment and found them comfortable; some people may find a mattress too soft, some might find it too hard, (and not because of its age) if customers find either or, I'm quite willing to change the mattress or put them in another unit, if we have space. We are next to the main road going past Kaapsehoop, which generally is dead quiet at night, unless they are harvesting timber in the area, in which case there will be a logging truck every half an hour or so. We describe ourselves as rustic, unfortunately, there are no great expanses of stainless steel, plastic or glass, we have tried to build in the original style of the village. We spend around 130 man/women hours a week cleaning, maintaining and improving. So no neglect, but we appreciate your review as it affords us the opportunity to fix specific problems (if stated).
