Rest for the soul with fantastic views over the bushveld. Peaceful farm atmosphere. Breathtaking view of the bushveld. Comfortable rooms. We made good use of the fireplace/braai in the house. Was fantastic. We had a nice drive in the bush. The veld paths are well maintained, but you definitely need a 4x4 as mentioned on the website. Would definitely want to stay here again for longer.

Tranquil, beautiful with amazing views. It's a stunning place, so spacious with a great view. We thoroughly enjoyed it and wished we were staying longer! We would definitely recommend it as it was just amazing .

Awesome breakaway in the bush. Perfect setting for a weekend away from Gauteng. Beautiful surroundings and awesome hiking trails.

Excellent! Value for money. We had an incredibly nice stay. Esther is a star and helped us so nicely. The house is much bigger than it appears in the photos and there is so much space to hang out. The rooms are also nice and big and private. One room had 2 double beds and one had a double and a single bed - so more than enough sleeping space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We were able to go for a nice walk and drive around the game reserve. Can't wait for our next visit!

Patric and Elsi provide incredibly good service. They are happy to help where they can! It's an excellent place for a nice rest and visit! Our friends enjoyed it immensely and we would love to visit there again.

Relaxing, beautiful home with everything you need. Mountain View Bush Lodge has beautiful views, a stunning setting with a waterhole in front of the patio. Breathtaking sunrises. Exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. Patrick and Ester are so friendly and helpful. If you want to go for a game drive, you do need a 4x4; the views are well worth the drive.

Lovely, peaceful getaway. Enjoyed the stay. Very peaceful. Beds were comfortable. The staff on the property were absolutely incredible.

Peaceful place with great views with sufficient support to make for a restful. We were only two in the lodge that caters for 8 or 10. There is an air of faded old-fashioned glory that we enjoyed, although a couple of minor maintenance jobs would not go amiss. Esther looked after everything - even lighting our wood braai. The kitchen is very well equipped and the big TV & WiFi worked well. Views are magnificent & we walked a bit outside of the lodge fence (3 Km is fine, at our age). The setting & ambiance are peaceful, which allowed us to rest fully after a hectic few weeks. The inside-fence Nyala were great & we saw klipspringer, nyala, baboons & impala from the huge, shaded terrace.

Peaceful bushveld break. We had a peaceful stay at Mountainview and enjoyed the many animals that visited the waterhole in front of the lodge.
