Description

Muchenje River Lodge is situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River near Katima Mulilo, on the border between Namibia and Zambia.

The accommodation comprises of 4, self-catering, stilted wooden cabins which can accommodate 2 guests at a time in each.

The self-catering units comprise two single beds. It also has a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen, located on the enclosed patio, has a gas stove, a fridge-freezer, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. Also on the deck, there is a braai and patio furniture where guests can enjoy their meals together.

Muchenje also has 5 campsites, each with their own electrical outlet, braai facilities and wash-up area. These sites make use of 3 ablution blocks with showers, toilet and basins.

Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.

Available activities at an additional cost include sundowner cruises for nature lovers who can take pictures of crocodile, hippo and the incredible bird life around the area and fishing trips with an experienced guide.
