Natte Valleij is a historic farm set on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg mountains, within easy reach of Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Cape Town. Natte Valleij exudes a sense of history with its homestead, old wine cellars, brandy stills, magnificent mature gardens with ancient trees, pergolas, and ponds that all are surrounded by whitewashed walls.

The 300-year-old, self-catering accommodation offers a unique, quiet, peaceful stay on the slopes of Simonsberg Mountain.

The Henhouse, which was once an active chicken coop on this working wine farm has been converted into a beautiful two-bedroom cottage with low doorways and reed ceilings.

Cellar Cottage, next to our cellars and the wedding venue is well-equipped and has a braai facility with a beautiful view of the slopes. In addition, there is an En-suite Guestroom and the Vineyard Cottage.

Natte Valleij prides itself on the unique building style of all the cottages and the authenticity of the whitewashed buildings and overgrown lush gardens. Natte Valleij is a working farm with dust and lots of character.
