A great night at the museum. We stayed in the standard family room. It was amazing to stay in the 'museum' and experience all the history. The only inconvenience was that the room is right by the security gate and it's quite noisy from 6am, but otherwise we had a great stay and were able to have dinner at the restaurant on the property after 11 hours on the road. Conveniently located right inside the Big Hole complex. Lovely spacious cottage, with beautiful Victorian bath, bidet and double shower. Everything is top notch here.

Magnificent stay. Incredible location - we had an overnight stop and due to the location we still had time to visit the hole despite arriving late afternoon (as it's literally just a few steps away). Walking through the museum after hours is a treat and really safe. We stayed in the Diggers Cottage (no 5) which was great for my parents who have some challenges with walking. The area was really quiet at night. The pillows were really thick, so if you are used to sleeping on feather pillows, I would recommend bringing your own. I will definitely be staying here again if I have the opportunity to visit Kimberley again.
