Malkoha Lake Lodge is situated within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park in KwaZulu-Natal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable diversity of landscapes, flora, and fauna. Nestled among the trees and overlooking the lake and bushveld, the lodge offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by unspoiled natural beauty.

Accommodation comprises 11 air-conditioned, thatched chalets built on raised wooden walkways above the lush forest. Each chalet features a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, as well as a patio where guests can relax and enjoy the scenery. In-room amenities include a bar fridge, mosquito nets, a ceiling fan, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the rates, as the chalets are not self-catering. The lodge’s open-plan restaurant seats up to 30 guests and serves excellent cuisine with personalized service. Guests can unwind in the lounge, which offers wildlife books and board games, or on the wooden viewing deck with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding bushveld.
