Description

Nieuwedrift Accommodation is nestled on a working wheat, sheep and wine farm located outside the town of Piketberg in the Swartland area. The town lies at the foot of the Piketberg Mountain range and is characterised by vineyards, colourful fields of wheat, fruit farms and indigenous fynbos.

The Cottage is load-shedding-free due to a solar panel system that was recently installed. Nieuwedrift Cottage comprises a 2-bedroom cottage that can comfortably accommodate 4 adults. The air-conditioned main bedroom contains a queen-size bed and its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath. The second room has 2 single beds and an air conditioner. Both rooms are equipped with Egyptian linen. There is a second bathroom fitted with a shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cooking utensils and a dining table. The lounge features comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a TV with selected DStv as well as Netflix. The unit also offers free Wi-Fi, a braai area and secure parking.

A covered braai facility is available on the patio as well as an open fire pit on the grass.

There is a restaurant near the cottage that is open from Wednesday to Sunday. The times are available on request.

Activities to enjoy in the area include golf, hiking, mountain biking, visiting farmer's markets, Ziplining at the Piekenierskloof Mountain Resort, wine tasting and 4x4 routes.
