Description

Oasis Cottage is a charming self-catering cottage nestled in the town of Merweville in the Great Karoo. It is an original Karoo home with thick walls. Merweville has a general store for essentials, a butcher stocking beautiful lamb for a braai, and a bottle store in case you get thirsty. There are bicycles for guests to use to ride around town, as well as a labyrinth overlooking the town and church.

Oasis Cottage can accommodate up to 5 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a cosy living area, and a kitchen and dining area. The first bedroom contains a double bed. The second bedroom contains a double bed and an additional single bed. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

The kitchen is fitted with a fridge-freezer, hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, a washing machine, dishwasher, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The living area contains seating and a piano. Wi-Fi internet access is available.

Outside there are several entertainment spaces. There is a patio with outdoor dining furniture and a hammock. A built-in braai area is available. There are 3 outdoor beds for relaxing under the trees, outdoor seating and umbrellas. Shaded parking is available.

The cottage is serviced by a warm and welcoming Malawian named Samson.
