The adjacent open-plan living area has a 4-seater dining table, sofas to relax on and a Smart TV with Netflix and DStv apps for guests to login with their own login details; free Wi-Fi Internet access is available.

The living area leads out onto a balcony, which has a 4-seater outdoor dining table for alfresco meals. Guests can admire views of the ocean, and Table Mountain on clear days. The accommodation is not affected by load shedding as it has an inverter which powers the TV and Wi-Fi during load shedding times.
