Peaceful farm atmosphere and silence. Excellent location, neatly furnished, beautiful scenery.

Beautiful, peaceful. Very nice stay, indoor braai is a winner. We would just invest in a new bed.

Peaceful evening in the beautiful Baviaanskloof wilderness. It's the nicest place I've ever stayed, lots of character, everything clean and tidy.

Have a nice day. The Ou Kerkie Cottage is by a ground dam, it's a bird paradise, mountain tortoises and a fat pig were our entertainment. The cottage is comfortably furnished. I don't know about mosquitoes in the summer, but September was a feast to stay there.

Lovely in the Kloof. Beautifully situated in the mountains. Everything very nice, just one or two minor things. Porch security lights (x2) are on all night. Can't turn them off. Braai grill was dirty. Swimming pool on porch. No water. Then take it away.

Situated on a working farm with sheep and their shepherds etc. The cottage is very well equipped with a fireplace/fireplace for cold evenings.

Beautiful view right from your porch. Amenities are very basic, but the view definitely makes it worth it. Next to the porch of the cottage is a natural pool (it rained recently) and a view of the mountains where birds and small animals move, so we enjoyed the tranquility of just there. The bedroom and bathroom with large bath also have a window/sliding door that looks directly onto this, so it was lovely. Think it's hard to keep the porch clean, so we jumped in with a broom and cloth to get the worst dust off the bench and deck when we got there, but once it was done, we had a great time. Our hostess wasn't terribly friendly when we went to pick up the key at the padstall, but that didn't bother us much — we're nice people! :D Thank you, Ou Kerkie and the website!
