Unpleasant. On arrival, there was construction. When we woke up on Sunday 14 and Monday 15, there was no electricity in the unit. The kettle didn't work, and we couldn't even prepare a meal; we had to go for breakfast.

Dear Reginald, The construction on the mall was supposed to have been done in June; the centre is now open but they are still not 100% finished with cleanup etc. Very frustrating. The electricity issue has been resolved; the very high usage was due to the geyser that was replaced. The kettle has also been replaced. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused during your stay. Perfect for our needs. Very spacious accommodation with a friendly liaison and a great cleaning lady. They were kind enough to provide a new iron and board upon request. It also had a full DSTV package and other extras. The apartment is on the second floor, so it may not be suitable for those who have difficulty climbing stairs, but it ensured that we got some exercise.

Ideal stay. The accommodation was well equipped, clean and a home away from home. Absolutely perfect and will stay again for any future trips to Knysna.
