Nice stay. The shower water pressure is a bit low. Very nice place. Spacious, clean and neat.

100% recommended. This review is a little hesitant as I'm not sure I want others to know of Penfield. However, I can 100% recommend it. The photos as advertised do not do the property/location justice. The location is unreal. If working remotely was an option, we'd move to the area. Early mornings and late afternoons were spent walking down to the river. Also, there are endless district roads for cyclists/runners. The area is remote and feels very safe, with barely any cars out on these. You will most likely only encounter other runners/cyclists. (A cold plunge in the river after your ride/run is recommended). Fishing also looks like the go-to in the area, and I will give it a shot next time. Safety also 10/10. The owner lives on the property. She is always willing to assist and a pleasure to deal with. The unit sleeps two, but note that there is another newly finished unit on the property which can also sleep 2. Just enquire.
