Fantastic. We had a lovely time at Perdekloof. Great place for the kids and the elderly. Nice and relaxing but quite a lot of activities if you enjoy hiking, 4x4, birdwatching, etc. Some interesting day trips into the surrounding area as well. Somerset East is close by and if you are up to it, a day trip to the Mountain Zebra National Park.

Perfect spot to relax in peace and quiet. My wife and I had a wonderful stay with our 3 dogs. It was quiet and private with a lovely sense of nature all around. The accommodation is very well appointed with everything you could need and more. We always take our own knives, braai tongs (you know the ones) and pillows - but none were needed. The rainwater (for drinking water) was also yummy. We either braaied or made pizzas every night and chilled on the large stoep and really relaxed. It was super hot when we arrived but you can use the hot tub as a splash pool to cool off, which was perfect. There's a nice little lawn too on which you can chill, and the dogs loved it too. We went for walks in all directions and did some minor exploring. We also went for a few drives up the mountain (will need a vehicle with decent clearance) for morning coffee or sundowners and saw some beautiful game too. A great place to bring two families as it can sleep up to 10 comfortably. Can only recommend this spot and am sure we'll be back.

Relaxed, clean, neat and well equipped. What a lovely hidden gem. A standard car is doable, though not recommended, but the place is neat and clean and oozes with welcome and hospitality. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Amazing place. Will definitely go again. Wow, what a perfect hideaway to unwind and recharge. Very well equipped home in a private natural setting. We enjoyed afternoon walks and relaxing around the cosy fireplace. Highly recommend!

Remote, quiet and exactly what we'd hoped for. Very pleasant stay. We were there in December, which is obviously hot and windy. The tub was wonderful, as well as the outside braai area.
