Fantastic, clean and relaxing. Well placed off-grid stay to relax. We've recharged and enjoyed our stay! I can definitely recommend this to anyone.

Voorwaar 'n heerlike wegbreek geleentheid. Ons kuier was uit die boonste rakke. Baie vriendelike en hulpvaardige diens. Buiten dat ons verblyf mooi skoon en netjies was, was die terrein ook baie mooi instandgehou. Daar was voorsiening gemaak vir oorgenoeg hout en braai toerusting, en die beligting in die aand is goed. Die kombuis is genoegsaam toegerus met breekware ens. Die kamers is ruim met genoeg pakplek. Die warmbad was 'n heerlike toevoeging tot ons verblyf en het dit terdee geniet. Ons sal vir seker weer kom inloer en voetsleep.

Heerlike wegbreek van stadsgeraas. Heerlik gekuier tussen die diere, lekker in die warm bad geplons. Ons kon weer ons batterye laai tot die volgende skoolvakansie! Dankie aan Charlene vir al die inligting!

Just what we needed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you so much! The views are breathtaking, everything is so tranquil, and we saw all the animals the farm has. The hot tub is especially nice at night time overlooking the stars. We saw 5 shooting stars! The house is fully equipped with everything you need, as well as things you may have forgotten to bring along, available for purchase at your convenience. We went without electricity on our second day due to the solar panels not absorbing enough energy because of the poor weather, but a generator was available for us to use. It was quite a funny thing not realising how 'off the grid' we truly were! The hosts were amazing, so very welcoming and helpful in so many ways. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back again!

Peace, privacy & pure bliss. We spent a magical weekend at this hidden gem tucked deep in nature, and it honestly felt like a reset button for the soul. The moment we arrived, we were surrounded by absolute stillness — no traffic, no buzz, just the wind, birds, and wide open space. The cottage is charming and simple, with everything you need. The solar setup is a big plus, and the fenced-in yard gave us peace of mind while we totally relaxed. Our favourite spot? Without a doubt, the KolKol wood-fired hot tub. We soaked for hours, chatting, laughing, and sipping drinks under the open sky — it felt like time stood still. What really made it special was the connection. No distractions, just genuine moments with each other. Whether we were sitting on the stoep watching the sunset or wrapped up in warm towels after the tub, everything felt easy, calm, and real. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how beautiful the simple things can be. We left with full hearts and clear minds. Thank you for always being in touch regarding check-in and while we stayed till when we left.

Goeie plaas atmosfeer en omgewing. Kan plek aanbeveel as gebreke aandag kry. Warm water was 'n probleem. Gasstelsel kon nie die drie kamers en gaste diens nie. Toilet lek in stoep badkamer. Seile by braai stukkend.

Nice location but it's overpriced; you get a lot at other places for the money. Needs a lot of maintenance. The shower head was broken. The water pump stopped due to an electrical error, which prevented the water from heating up. The kettle had lime scale inside. The water pump switched on and off the whole night. The hot tub can heat up too much water. No free wood, no complimentary coffee and tea. The tap head filter is missing and the sink drain is rusted. The place is nice and relaxing. The taps in the toilet are not properly cleaned.
