An unforgettable stay at a true gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. This farmhouse is an absolute treasure—a beautiful, character-filled home with a profound sense of calm and history. The indoor and outdoor spaces are expansive, offering plenty of room to unwind and soak in the surroundings. Whether we were enjoying the quiet indoors or taking in the breathtaking landscape outside, there was always a sense of peace and inspiration. The scenery around the property is truly awe-inspiring—perfect for reconnecting with nature and finding moments of stillness. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

Beautiful farm in the mountains. A cosy cottage perfect for a restful holiday. Lots of activities and a very friendly and helpful team at Pitlochrie. We had a lovely time!

Beeldskone natuur. Die afgesonderde huise is stil en afgeleë op werkende plaas. Rustige atmosfeer en kaggels in die hoofslaapkamer, sitkamer, kombuis en leefvertrek. Joe is baie gasvry en het goeie voorstelle van wat om te doen in die area. Omliggende omgewing is pragtig.

Beautiful area with great fishing. The cottage is great in terms of maintenance, cleanliness and comfort. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are warm and comfortable but what really makes it great is the view and the fishing. Great for trout fisherman and their better halves. Also great for photographers. When the moon is dark it feels like you can hit the stars with a stick.

Rustig, veilig, ongelooflike natuurskoon. Dit was 'n ongelooflike langnaweek. Weggesteek in die berge, baie stil en veilig. Ons is vriendelik ontvang deur ons gasheer Joe. Skoon, netjiese kothuis met genoeg vuurmaakhout en vars plaasmelk. Dit was een nag -12 grade maar ons het glad nie koud geslaap nie. Selfs nie met sneeu nie. Lekker uitgerus en dit was baie lekker om weg van die stad te wees. Kindervriendelik en ons hondjie was ook welkom. Sal sommer gou weer kom kuier en aanbeveel vir 'n lekker gesinswegbreek.

Familiekuier in Oos-Kaap hooglande. Die White House is goed toegerus, netjies en aangenaam om in te bly. Genoeg kaggels (hout is voorsien) om die winterkoue uit te hou. Die plek daagliks skoongemaak en die kaggels gepak, net reg om aan te steek. Rustige plaasomgewing en fantastiese sterrehemel in die nag. Ons het ons honde saamgevat. Hulle het dit net so geniet. Erf is groot en omhein. Joe is 'n baie hulpvaardige gasheer.
