Description
Reiersvlei Farm offers a charming self-catering farmhouse located just 6 km outside the picturesque village of Stanford in the Western Cape. Set on a tranquil working farm, this spacious country retreat is ideal for families, groups of friends, or nature lovers seeking peace and quiet surrounded by rolling fields and scenic mountain views.
The house can accommodate up to 10 guests and features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each room has its own private verandah overlooking the large garden lawns. Bedrooms one and two are furnished with king-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with both a bath and shower. Bedroom three has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom four is furnished with a king-size bed, while bedroom five contains 2 single beds. These two rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The expansive open-plan living area includes a farm-style kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, electric oven, cutlery and crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, as well as a central 10-seater dining table. A washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher are also available in the separate scullery for added convenience. The lounge offers ample comfortable seating, two wood-burning fireplaces, and a TV with DStv. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided.
Outside, guests can enjoy a late afternoon sundowner on the comfortably furnished patio with braai facilities, take a dip in the swimming pool, or make use of the outdoor shower for a more adventurous experience. Secure parking is also provided. Reiersvlei offers a warm, rustic farm stay with easy access to Stanford’s eateries, shops, and outdoor activities. It’s the perfect base for sunset braais, birdwatching, and countryside adventures in the Overberg.
