Perfect secure and private getaway enjoyed in the Waterberg Mountains. We had a wonderful stay at this secure and private Stone Chalet. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The tranquillity and sounds of nature, being in the bush and right on the edge of the farm dam was so refreshing. Especially enjoyed the fireflies all over the dam. Nature is awesome.

As jy hou van wegbreek en natuur, gaan kyk beslis uit na hierdie juweel. Ons het hierdie wegbreek terdege geniet. Met die Celltoring wat 2 dae vroeër deur weerlig getref is, het ons alle selfone net weg gesit en ons asemrowende uitsig vir 2 dae geniet. Dammetjie is vol vlei en kanarie kurpers, so hul het ons baie besig gehou met ertwurms. 2 Staproetes gedoen op die plaas en ook die waterval besoek en geswem. Die Stone Chalet is uitsonderlik mooi buite en binne, 10 uit 10 met 'n groot lapa vir kuier en buite braai.

Most pleasant of places when visiting the Vaalwater area. Awesome nature experience totally cut off from city buzz.

Excellent stay! Peaceful and quiet. Stone houses are so warm and full of sunshine. Lots of hiking trails, a waterfall, or just the main road to walk around. We will definitely see you again. Thanks, you are such a lovely person.

Tranquil, quiet and beautiful out in nature with no disturbances. The chalet was exactly what was advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The road there was longer than expected but was fine to travel with a higher vehicle. We needed to use the WiFi for a meeting and the hosts were very accommodating with us going to the main house. Although there was no power for the first night due to a heavy electric storm, the hosts did everything they could to ensure the power was restored as soon as possible and accommodated us by giving us frozen water bottles for our food to keep cold. This made a big difference. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Basic but charming and functioning well; for nature lovers. Need a car with ground clearance of 20 cm or about: after effects of excess water damaging roads. They are fixing as we speak. Place very secluded with a pond and mating frogs! Great to hear. Catering facilities good. Loved the silence in stereo.

Peaceful, quiet stay with great hiking. The Stone Chalet is a lovely, quiet spot. Well-equipped kitchen and braai area. The hiking trails are great. Quite challenging but well-marked and beautiful.

A really beautiful setting on a stunning dam with so many interesting fish. I had a wonderful stay and hike here. The cottage is situated in a beautiful valley on a small dam which is great for swimming. There is a lot of hiking and outdoor activities one can do from the cottage as well. A great escape to the Waterberg.
