Spectacular sunsets, whispers of flowing water and star-filled African skies offer an ambiance of unequalled peace and tranquillity. River Place Manor is situated on one of Upington's wine farms, yet it lies only three minutes from the Upington town center.

This exclusive guesthouse offers luxury accommodation with individually-styled en-suite rooms which will meet a guest's every need. Our staff are friendly and always make every effort to please. With 17 luxury units we offer self catering, double and family rooms with coffee / tea facilities and mini bar. All our rooms have their own private entrances and balconies or patio's either overlooking the river or the vineyards. Most rooms are semi-self catering and have balconies with barbeque facilities.

Our canoes allow you to retreat into nature. Listen to birdsong as you watch fish jump up to greet you. Explore the little island inlets which lie like a jigsaw in the river water, very close to River Place Manor. Launch from our jetty and find yourself in a peaceful world of your own.

Twitchers you are in for a treat! Upington and its surrounds offer a variety of birds of which 20 raptor species are present. Bring your binoculars, relax on our lawns by the river and tick off every new species you see.
