Absolutely stunning place and views. We had an incredible, wonderful stay at Riversong, river room. To the finest detail with flowers and plants on the stoep, it really felt like home. The views of the mountains are breathtaking. Thank you, Viv, we'll definitely be back.

So perfectly suited to us. The location was perfect - open spaces to walk our dog, beautiful views and tranquil surroundings. The room was spacious and beautifully equipped. Viv was an unobtrusive and caring host.

Rustig! Silwerskoon en uitstekend toegerus. Heerlike beskuit, luukse bed en 'n groot stort met 'n mixer tap wat goed werk. Tot my boekwurm-vrou se vreugde was daar nie 'n televisie nie. Dankie aan Vivien en haar span.

Ongelooflik lekker. Baie beslis waarde vir jou geld. Ongelooflike mooi omgewing en die verblyf was perfek. Alles wat nodig is, is in die selfsorg. Dit lyk presies so op die foto's.

Very comfortable bed, and great room with easy access to the estate. The stay was comfortable, but attention to detail was lacking. A plunger was provided, but no ground coffee. The fridge freezer was over-iced and had not been cleaned for a while. Ice trays were left dry in the fridge. There was no TV or Bluetooth speaker. There was also no outside light to allow for easy access after dark. There was also very little privacy.

Dear Francois, I am sorry that you felt that attention to detail was lacking. I apologise for the over icing of the freezer and empty ice trays. There is no excuse for this and I will double-check in future to make sure this doesn't happen. I do supply instant coffee, tea, olive oil, rusks, salt and pepper, wine gums and other amenities for your convenience - more, I think, than most other accommodations would supply. The plunger is there for those preferring to bring their own ground coffee. In the listing, it doesn't say that there is a TV or Bluetooth speaker, which is a deliberate decision as most guests who choose to stay here want to disconnect. There is a light switch in the unit for the pathway - which is explained in the information folder. The location of the estate, which is less than a kilometre from the village of Stanford, is also described in the listing. We always strive to make sure that we live up to what is described in our listing and to provide our guests with an exceptional experience. I am distressed to hear that it wasn't this for you. I wish that you had said something at the time so I could rectify anything that you felt was lacking. Take care and I appreciate your feedback.
