Peaceful and quiet and close enough to Ladysmith if you need anything. Desmond, the manager, is very nice and helpful. You cannot drive around the farm, but it is very nice to go for a walk and there is beautiful wildlife. The farm is a 10 minute drive from Ladysmith. Rest & peace but miss pool. Warm welcome and comfortable home. The swimming pool is unfortunately at the owner's house which is about 1.5 km away. The shower's hot water is not constant and due to an open shower everything gets wet and there was no bath mat to use. No grill stand and braai pan were available and unfortunately there were also no fans for if the heat bothered you a bit. However, the peace and quiet and warmth and helpfulness of the farm manager and his wife made up for the slight inconvenience.
