Riversun Retreat is located along the Orange River in the Northern Cape, approximately 21 km from Vioolsdrif. The property lies between two borders, South Africa's boundary with Namibia and the Richtersveld National Park, a World Heritage Site.

Accommodation consists of 3 fully air-conditioned, self-catering chalets. Each chalet includes sleeping arrangements suitable for families or small groups, en-suite bathrooms with showers, and well-equipped kitchenettes. In-room features include a fridge, microwave, gas stove, flat-screen TV, and satellite internet.

On-site facilities include a restaurant for meals and takeaways, private braai areas, and access to the river for swimming and kayaking. Guests can also enjoy fishing, hiking, birdwatching, and 4x4 activities. A small mango farm is located on the property.

Local attractions in the area include the Richtersveld National Park, known for its biodiversity and rugged landscapes, and the Vioolsdrif border crossing into Namibia. The Orange River is South Africa's largest river. The water is warm and the weather is naturally perfect all year round.
