Description

Riviera Cottage is a thatched-roof self-catering cottage for up to 6 and is situated approximately 6 km from Tulbagh. This is the perfect place for a getaway or to come and relax and rest in the beautiful, natural surroundings. Pets are welcome and safe as the cottage is fenced. There is a horse and other gentle dogs that roam the farm freely.

The cozy open plan cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft room, a kitchen, and a living area. One of the rooms is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a toilet. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and 2 single beds are available in the loft room. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, and a toilet. A cot, changing table with accessories, bath and feeding chair are available at an extra cost, please arrange in advance .

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. The living room has a dining table and guests can relax in the lounge. There is also an outside braai area under a vineyard arbor with all the necessary accessories.

The cottage has lovely views. A walking route is also available on the farm that leads to the river as well as a lovely hot tub in the braai area.

Tulbagh and surrounds offers wine tasting at the nearby wine estates and vineyards, as well as activities such as walking and hiking, and mountain biking and horse-back riding trails. Guests can view the blooming wildflowers between April and October, or visit the Oude Kerk Volksmuseum and Tulbagh Nursery.
