We had an absolutely wonderful time! Our stay at Roggevlei farmhouse was comfortable, peaceful and very enjoyable. The clean, spacious, neat house with good facilities was lovely, as was the nature directly around us which meant that we were not bored and could rest wonderfully.

Peace of mind, walking, cycling, swimming in the farm dam, it was wonderful. Will definitely go again. Beautiful, lovely farm house very well equipped with everything you need. Spacious rooms, clean and tidy. Our dogs really enjoyed it. The hostess, very friendly and always there to help.

Six out of ten. Walking in the Skurweberg koppies behind the house is the highlight of Roggevlei. No light pollution means stargazing is also wonderful. The piles of blankets that were available were also lovely. Well equipped kitchen. Downsides are the electricity box right in front of the house that makes a constant buzzing noise that you have to come to terms with when you braai outside, or spend time outside in front of the house, the sad state of the historic house's thatched roof, and the quality of the directions to get there. It was very nice to be able to check out whenever we wanted, instead of 10:00. Thank you very much, Irma, for your hospitality.

Nature, silence, relaxed. We had a great time as a family on the breathtaking farm, full of history, beautiful nature and the most beautiful sunsets you can think of.
