Description

Rooidam Guestfarm is a self-catering farmhouse located on a privately owned farm in the Karoo region of the Free State. The property offers peaceful accommodation, ideal for families seeking a tranquil break away from city life. Please note that there is a 10 km gravel road leading to the property.

The accommodation consists of 2 separate units: Die Jaghuisie and Die Woonstel. Die Jaghuisie accommodates up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and a separate guest toilet. The first and second bedrooms each contain a double bed, the third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a shower, and there is a separate toilet. A double sleeper couch is available in the living area.

Die Woonstel offers accommodation for up to 3 guests. It includes 1 bedroom with a double bed, an additional sleeping area with a three-quarter bed, and a bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet.

Both units include self-catering facilities. The kitchens are equipped with essential appliances including a stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, cutlery, and crockery. Tea and coffee are provided, along with a limited amount of firewood.

Guests have access to an outdoor braai area. As the property is a working farm, the presence of small insects such as spiders may occasionally occur, despite thorough cleaning. Small, well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Parking is available on the premises. Please note that there is no TV or internet, encouraging guests to enjoy uninterrupted quality time together.
