Great relaxing few days that we had there! Rose Cottage is a lovely place to stay. We had everything we basically needed for our stay. We found it difficult to find as we arrived late at night and there were no signs. The directions on the site were a little inaccurate. The overseer was super helpful. Our dogs absolutely loved the fact that they had so much space to run around. The fireplace outside was great to sit around and relax. It was quite easy to figure out how to fire up the donkey for hot water. The quietness was awesome with the occasional baa from the sheep far away. Water was supplied from the river and we found a few paths to walk on and also took a drive to Hankey on a quite scary but fun road. Can still say lots, but want to thank the host and staff for their helpfulness.
