It was Exceptionally awesome. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 little dogs, and our every need was catered for. The house is perfectly laid out and I really enjoyed the big braai. The dogs spent most of the time outside as the lawn was something new to them. Thank you, Chris, for allowing us to live in your home. Thank you to the website for making it so easy.

A well positioned house, in a quiet cul-de-sac, one can easily walk to the river. The house has great appliances but unfortunately some of the things one does expect in a self-catering house were missing - tea, coffee, soap, salt, pepper, coffee plunger, kitchen towel. There was only one bedside light per room and although I had said that we were travelling in two cars, we had to ask for another key and remote. There was no recycling and no spade to clean up after our dogs. There were only two small ice trays which had no ice in them when we arrived, not adequate for a house that sleeps 6.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that our fully self-catering accommodation didn’t meet your expectations. Like our other establishments (and most self-catering stays), we do not provide complimentary tea, coffee, milk, or ice—something clearly stated in our description. Regarding the keys, we were unaware that you were in need of an extra set of keys, as this was never mentioned. Unfortunately, we only issue one set of keys per booking, which is standard practice. Recycling bags are conveniently located in the bottom drawer, and the spade is behind the garage—both easy to find. As you had already contacted me multiple times on my cellphone, a quick message would have resolved these minor queries instantly. As for Stilbaai’s water, it is indeed brackish and not recommended for drinking or ice-making, as noted in the house rules. We always encourage guests to read these to ensure a comfortable stay. We appreciate your stay and hope you enjoy your future travels.

Rus Net is so goed geleë en naby winkels, rivier en stap roetes. Ons het heerlik gebly in 'n pragtige, netjiese en goed toegeruste huis.

Baie rustig en gemaklik. Dit was die rustigste ondervinding wat ek in die laaste 15 jaar gehad het. Alles was soos geadverteer. Die honde was mal oor al die oop ruimte om te hardloop en te speel. Die huis was baie goed onderhou en skoon.
