Exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed it very much. Excellent location in terms of a springboard to all Lowveld destinations. The farm itself is lovely with beautiful walks along the river.

Amazing. It was amazing, we had a wonderful experience at the loft.

Perfectly fine. When I look at the photos again, the place looks just like it does in the advert. However, when we arrived, I felt it was not quite what I expected. It is perfectly fine and has almost all of the amenities you could want, but I felt it was a bit more outdated than what I expected. The kitchen is well stocked and the workers are friendly yet keep to themselves, which is nice. The loft is above a house with another tenant in it, and you are aware of that, but this can be a bonus if you don't want to be isolated on the farm. There are loads of games and books, and it has a very lived-in feel. The farm feels safe. The river is a steep walk down the hill, and the garden below the loft is small and did not really lend itself to my son hanging out much down there. The floors are very creaky, and you wonder if you're disturbing the tenant underneath, but it does add to the old-school loft feel! All in all, I think we would stay again, but would also be happy to try another place in the area.

It was a perfect spot for the 2 nights we spent. The people are great, and the stay was great. Just would have liked a TV for when you get back after a day's trip up and down going to all the sights. Though I could not find the direct directions on Google maps - the neighbors' directions took us to Salela farm as it was well marked on the road.
