SANParks Gannakouriep Wilderness Camp in the Richtersveld Transfrontier Park is situated in a rocky valley that has a wild feeling about it.

Gannakouriep Wilderness Camp offers accommodation in 4 canvas cabin’s, 1 of which also caters for guests using wheelchairs. Each cabin has its own unique design and contains a bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a solar-powered fridge, gas stove, cooking utensils and cutlery and crockery. The cabins have a 12-volt solar-powered lighting system, however, should problems occur with the lights, paraffin lanterns are available. Outside, each cabin has a patio with a table and chairs, and braai facilities.

Please note that the water at Gannakouriep is very high in mineral content and is therefore not suitable for drinking. Guests should bring their own drinking water and firewood. A 4x4 high clearance vehicle is required.
