Sempurna Estate offers three cosy self-catering accommodation on a working grape and fruit farm situated 1.5km away from the quaint town of McGregor.
Kecil Cottage is a 2-bedroom cottage that consists of 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living and a dining area. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, and an en-suite bathroom has underfloor heating and is fitted with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom (across the private courtyard) is furnished with 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The main living space includes a sleeper couch suited for 1 - 2 young kids or 1 adult. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove, oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a dining table with an indoor fireplace. There is a private courtyard with braai facilities, which is between the main living space and the second bedroom.
The original barn has been divided into the 3 King Rooms and offers luxury and comfort in the Santai Suites. Santai Suites 1 and 2 accommodate up to 2 guests, and Santai Suite 3, with a comfortable double sleeper sofa, can accommodate up to 4 people. The air-conditioned/heated Santai Suites are furnished with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with baths, showers and underfloor heating. The Santai Suites each include a living area and a kitchenette with a bar fridge, 4 plate gas hob, microwave oven and cutlery, crockery and DSTV upon request. Each suite has a lovely patio with a view of the magnificent gardens and the Manor House. Each covered patio has seating and a small Weber braai.
The original workers cottages have been renovated and are the Hillside Cottages. Hillside Cottage A has a queen size bed in the bedroom and a double sleeper couch in the open-plan lounge/kitchen area. For the cold winter nights there is an indoor fireplace in the sitting room. There is a bath with a shower over bath and the full kitchen with a 4 plate gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer section, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. A Weber braai is also available
Hillside Cottage B has a queen size bed in the bedroom and 2 single beds in the open-plan lounge/kitchen area. The kitchen has a bar fridge, 4 plate gas hob, a microwave oven, airfryer, toaster and kettle. This bathroom has a shower.
On-site facilities include a 25 m indoor swimming pool heated in the winter and a small communal gym. If guests want to enjoy some outdoor activities, there is an 11 km nature trail where guests can hike or cycle. The "bench with a view" and the bush braai and boma have a stunning view overlooking McGregor. The quiet farm surroundings are perfect for birdwatching, photography, and painting, while the dams, when full, offer the opportunity to fish and kayak paddling.
