Serenity is a self-catering beach house situated at the mouth of the Mgwalana River, approximately 30 minutes from Port Alfred in the Eastern Cape. The property is located in a quiet area close to the estuary, with the beach and river just a few steps away.
The house accommodates up to six guests in three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom on the upper floor has a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, and a balcony with ocean views. On the lower floor, there is one twin bedroom and one double bedroom, which share a full bathroom with a bath and shower. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for six, and a lounge with books, puzzles, and board games.
On-site facilities include a spacious deck with outdoor dining, loungers, and a hammock, as well as a wind-protected braai area with covered seating. Secure parking is available on the premises.
Local attractions within 20 kilometres include various wildlife viewing opportunities, with birdwatching and sightings of tortoises and buck around the village. The proximity to the beach and river offers activities such as swimming, fishing, and nature walks.
