Great. Such a lovely getaway. Beautiful fields to walk through, lovely dam to kayak and paddle in. The host stocks up the wood for us to use for fire or braai, which was lovely. Very helpful with any questions.

It was peaceful and beautiful, would definitely visit again! A little piece of heaven tucked away in the beautiful mountains of Underberg. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a warm and cosy home with a landscape of sheep and cattle roaming just ahead. This cottage is the perfect getaway from city life! Just a tip: there is about 17 km of gravel road that takes a bit longer to travel, but no issues on the road.

Shepherds cottage is a perfect place for a couple to stay. We had a very relaxing weekend. Shepherds cottage is perfect and very well appointed. We are also grateful that we could bring the dogs with.
