The farm Skietkuil is situated on the N1, halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town. It is also a quiet, scenic stopover for those traveling form Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) to the West coast or Namaqualand. (R63)

This holiday farm is in the hart of the Karoo and offers a unique opportunity to enjoy fabulous family accommodation,warm hospitality, tranquility and magnificent Karoo sunsets.

Skietkuil offers affordable rates and quiet surroundings where guests can unwind and destress form their long journeys.

Skietkuil Holiday Farm offers 8 spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated units. Some units features a fully equipped kitchen. There are air cons, DStv, electric blankets, home made rusks and dry cereals with milk in every room.

Guests can relax with a refreshment out of their honesty fridges or at the bar in the entertainment area. From the farm kitchen comes fine country cuisine, Karoo lamb, beef, and venison, prepared to your preference with home-grown selection of fresh farm vegetables. Dinner is served by arrangement in the restaurant. Unfortunately, no cooked dinners or breakfast will be served over weekends off-season.

A traditional barbeque under the Karoo stars is also a favourite, braai packs are offered. English breakfast are served on request.
