Squirrels Corner is an established guest house offering a relaxed, warm, and friendly atmosphere in Montagu. The guest house is centrally located in the village, and most places of interest are within walking distance. The house dates back to 1890 and has authentic Oregon pine flooring and ceilings.

All guest rooms have been recently refurbished. Accommodation comprises 4 units suited to accommodate up to 9 guests in total. The 2 larger outside suites that open onto the garden now have tiled floors, fireplaces, walk-in showers, open-view TV, fridges, and microwaves. The family suite also has a 2-plate stove and a kitchen sink.

Due to the installation of a central UPS together with mini-UPSs in the rooms, there is 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity.

Squirrels Corner prides itself on offering guests a homely experience. Traditionally, a complimentary glass of the famous Montagu Muscadel wine is served on arrival. Guests can make use of the communal lounge in the main house with DStv and a fireplace, enjoy a beverage in the lush garden, or relax on the Terrace with panoramic views of the Langeberg Mountain surrounding Montagu.

The optional breakfast is served in the dining room in the main house, with a lovely view of the garden, the Dutch Reformed Church, and the surrounding mountain. In winter, a roaring wood fire will keep you warm and cosy. Off-street parking is available for guests.

There are 2 walking trails, Lovers Walk and Kanonkop, both located a few hundred metres from the front door. Nearby activities include historical homes, museums, restaurants, hot springs, wine outlets, and a renowned dried fruit factory.

There is an extensive collection of model Ferraris and other Ferrari-themed memorabilia on site. Guests have free access to the collection.
