St Fort's sandstone homestead which was built in 1913 is nestled below the Mushroom Rock with the Little Calendon river meandering below; creating the quintessential Eastern Free State farm experience. Nestled below the Mushroom Rock, just outside of Clarens, St Fort Farm offers accommodation in a sandstone homestead for big families or groups of friends that are looking for a quiet farm escape.

St Fort Farmhouse has been lovingly restored into a luxurious and comfortable Guesthouse with 6 en-suite bedrooms, inviting one back to a bygone era that reflects the grandeur of pressed ceilings and wooden floors.

The Guesthouse is divided into 3 units, the Main House, Annex, and the Farm Cottage.

The guest house is divided into The Main House and the Annex which is connected by interleading doors to an empty passage room, which can be locked if guests are not booking both units.

The Cottage is free-standing and is situated to the West of the house. This cozy cottage sleeps two and has a lovely view overlooking the dam.

This property is ideal for nature lovers and those who enjoy going for walks. Guests can explore the farm without having to drive anywhere and they can hike the grounds through Poplar forests and walk along the Little Caledon River to go visit Mushroom Rock. St Fort Farm is approximately 7 km from Clarens where guests have access to various amenities like shops and restaurants.
