Located on the iconic Route 62, between Montagu and Barrydale and a 2-hour drive from Cape Town, Starry Starry Night eco mountain reserve is located in the foothills of the rugged Langeberg Mountains. The reserve is perfectly positioned as a midway stopover between Cape Town and the Garden Route.

Accommodation is offered in a choice of either semi-detached cottages or stunning geodesic units accommodating 2 to 4 guests.

Luna Mountain Cottage is semi-detached and furnished with a queen-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower. Children can only be accommodated in the Mountain Cottages by prior arrangement. The cottage has its own kitchen equipped with a fridge, mini-bar, oven, and stove. Other amenities include a fireplace, hot water bottles, and linen.

The Owner's Cottage is a gorgeous stand-alone 1-bedroom cottage with a double bed and en-suite with a bath. A peaceful stay is offered in the beautifully designed StarDomes, where nature and comfort are combined to create a unique self-catering experience. Each dome is set within tranquil surroundings and provides access to the reserve’s rivers, waterfalls, hiking trails, and natural rock pools, allowing guests to fully appreciate the beauty of the area.

The Nova StarDome can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom fitted with a shower. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge, microwave, stove, and oven, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. A private boma with a firepit and a wood-fired KolKol hot tub offers sweeping mountain views, while braai facilities are also available. A short walk up the hillside leads guests to the communal KolKol, swimming pool, and herb garden.

The Gaia StarDome comfortably accommodates 2 guests in a queen-size bed located in the main dome. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, and a freestanding bath is available in the main bedroom. A dining area and cosy lounge with a fireplace provide an inviting space for guests to relax while enjoying uninterrupted mountain views.

All cottages are equipped with private braai facilities and good Wi-Fi connectivity for guests’ convenience. The setting offers a serene escape, surrounded by the natural beauty and tranquillity of the surrounding reserve.
