Description

Steepside Guest Farm is approximately 40 km from the town of Barkley East on a gravel road to Rhodes. The farm is nearby the historical town of Rhodes and the Tiffindell Ski Resort on the border of Lesotho. Accomdation on the farm is provided in 2 cottages and a camping site.

The Oudestal Cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathrooms. The farm-style kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a fridge, microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room holds comfortable seating and a fireplace for those cold winter nights. There are braai facilities on the covered patio for guests to enjoy.

The Rock Treat Cottage comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with a woodburning stove as well as a gas stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room holds comfortable seating and a large fireplace for those cold winter nights. There are indoor braai facilities and a large verandah with great views of the farm. Undercover parking for 1 vehicle.

Meals can be arranged on request at an additional fee, and braai packs can also be provided. The accommodation includes bedding, all linen and towels, as well as electricity.

Activities on the farm include fly fishing, horse riding, hiking trails, mountain climbing trails, bushman art and 4x4 routes. There is also a tennis court and trampoline available for guests' use.
