Stonecutters Nature Lodge in Mpumalanga, South Africa, is a 4-star luxury country getaway offering trout fishing in the Mpumalanga Highlands. Located between Dullstroom and Lydenburg just 3 hours from OR Tambo Airport and 2.5 hours from Kruger National Park, he lodge is 15 minutes from the foot of the Long Tom Pass, which is the starting point of the Panorama Route.

Stonecutters is a great family destination or a romantic retreat for couples. This secure and scenic getaway offers upmarket accommodation combined with trout fishing. There are two well-stocked dams, a mountain hike with stunning views, and a three-kilometer river meander.

Stonecutters Eco-Estate is fully committed to sustainability: Solar Power has been installed for all electricity requirements. The water-source provides abundant crystal clear borehole water.

Stone Manor is the main hub, a gathering point for all guests: a stylish lounge/dining area with a great fireplace, the Cat’s Whiskers pub with a TV for sports events, and a state-of-the-art boardroom are all centrally located here.

The Cobbles Studios are shaded by tall pine trees, each studio sleeping 2 people in a luxury double suite, ideal for couples enjoying time away together. These 6 studios have shower bathrooms and well-equipped kitchenettes for meal preparation. Each studio features its own wooden deck with outdoor seating and gas braai facilities.

Stone Cottage is a private semi-detached cottage with that WOW factor: bright and airy lounge with high raftered ceiling, fireplace, and spectacular views. Open plan galley kitchen and patio with gas braai. The elegant master bedroom is king bedded (or twin) and has an extra single bed and a superb en-suite bathroom. There is a separate toilet with a bidet. Stone Cottage can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children, as there is an additional single bed in the lounge area. Stone Cottage is not suitable for 4 adults.

Trout House is a family home in a private setting at the dams, and this charming double-story house offers open-plan living with a fireplace. There are 3 deluxe bedrooms, all en-suite, sleeping a total of seven. Family time at its best! The adjacent thatched boma is great for outdoor entertaining. Wheelchair friendly.

Breakfast is offered daily, and dinner by prior arrangement at Stone Manor at an additional cost. Alternatively, Breakfast Baskets, 2 course dinners, or Braai baskets can be sent to the accommodation.

Stonecutters is ideal for groups – put together a party of up to 24 guests and take over the entire lodge! Conferences can enjoy privacy and great amenities at Stonecutters, which has a superb boardroom with an 86" interactive screen and seating for up to 30 delegates in a U-shape.
