Peaceful and rejuvenating! We loved staying at the sunset cottage. The views are amazing and it is close to all that you need in the Underberg town. We also enjoyed a swim in the river nearby, which was amazing.

Relaxing, unforgettable stay. We enjoyed our stay at Sunset View Cottage. Beautiful views, the area and surrounding areas have great hikes and activities, the cottage was in excellent condition, equipped with everything you needed and more. Enjoyed the animals, especially the dogs who would visit. A special thank you to John and Virginia for their warm welcome and hospitality. We would recommend any couple to go and stay at Sunset View Cottage.

Relaxing, beautiful, peaceful, amazing. We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts are very friendly and answer all our questions within an amazing amount of time and always check up on us, even asking if we got home safe. The cottage has everything you need and we enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets each night. It is close to town and activities but is also a place to stay even for a relaxing day.

Magical! Our stay was nothing short of magical! Virginia and John were an absolute treat as hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable in the unexpected snowfall! They really made our stay special and the accommodation was more than we could have hoped for. Comfortable and completely kitted out for anything you would need. Thank you to Virginia, John and all of their gorgeous animals for making our weekend one to remember. I highly recommend staying here.

Thank you very much, Shrey. We certainly had fun and games that weekend in the snow. After you left, the entire area had no Eskom for 5 days due to the damage. Thank goodness Sunset View Cottage has solar and a backup generator. Our following guests were completely unaware of the situation in the area.

Peaceful and relaxing. We were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming hosts. We had a lovely stay, from the stunning view and sunsets to feeding the chickens in the morning and playing with the dogs. It's very close to the shopping centre if you need anything, but it also gives the feeling of being in nature and not near any roads. Truly an amazing stay. Would highly recommend to anyone. The flat is very well equipped and stays warm even when it's freezing outside.

Our stay was lovely! It's a new, clean and well-kept cottage containing anything you might have forgotten. The owners are lovely, friendly and accommodating. The setting is just beautiful, with it earning its name as Sunset Cottage. It has a lovely little private garden with a braai. If it's too cold, there's one on the enclosed patio too, which has big glass doors to let in the sunset but keep out the cold. We loved the animals! There are gorgeous dogs to keep you company and some curious chickens and ducks to feed, which all just makes for an all-round lovely experience.
