Description

Swartvlei Guest Farm is located near the shores of Swartvlei Lake, surrounded by forest and farmland. The property offers self-catering accommodation and a function venue, situated between Sedgefield and Karatara.

Accommodation comprises 5 stone cottages and a double-storey manor house, sleeping up to 22 guests in total. Captain Al and Jet Master Cottages each sleep 2 guests and offer a king-size bed, a cot, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. War Admiral and Seattle Slew Cottages each sleep 4 guests and have 2 king-size beds, a cot, and an en-suite bathroom. Seattle Slew also features a private hot tub. All cottages include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a compact kitchen with a bar fridge, freezer, microwave, air fryer, and braai area. The Historic Manor House accommodates 12 guests across 4 bedrooms with a combination of king-size, queen-size, and double beds, and en-suite bathrooms in three of the rooms. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, oven, fridge, and microwave.

On-site facilities include a swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis court, lush gardens, walking trails, birdwatching opportunities, and 4 km of wetland. A function venue is also available for weddings and events.

Nearby activities include hiking, rock climbing, fishing, and visiting the beaches, markets, and nature reserves in and around Sedgefield, located within 20 km of the farm.
