Out of this world. Wow, there are no words that could describe this place in any way. It's just different; it's something to experience for yourself. No one would be able to describe this place in a way that would fully compliment it in the right way. If you really want to escape everyday life, this would be it. Good fishing, well kitted out comfortable cottage. Lovely cottage, but our second stay and again some issues with hot water as geysers are on solar only. WiFi is self-pay but kept running out of data when just loaded; not sure why.

We had a very relaxing time. We stayed in Agapanthus Cottage. It was well equipped with all the cooking and braaiing equipment. It was clean and neat. Even when it rained, there were enough facilities to still braai.

Nice stay with our four-legged children. We were kindly received and taken to our cottage. Fresh eggs, jam and biscuits provided from the farm. It was very nice! Dogs enjoyed the water and the farm! There is no reception or WiFi, but not a problem either - just something that might need to be mentioned in advance. The cottages run on solar and battery power, we only woke up one early morning without power (even though we used power very sparingly) - but when the sun came up, there was power again. A delightful getaway, everything about the place was perfect. It was an absolutely delightful stay! A perfect getaway from city life. We stayed at the Agapanthus cottage. Please don't expect anything fancy, it is an escape after all. The cottage was clean, with basic toiletries provided as well as tea and coffee. It is all solar/gas powered. It's important to know there is no TV and microwave, also no internet connection - perhaps this is what I loved most about the place. My two dogs enjoyed themselves, very spacious outside area. The manager was very polite and checked up on us. Will definitely be back.
