Description

Tankwa Tented Camp is located on the R355 between Ceres and Calvinia on the farm Stonehenge.

Accomdation is provided in a variety of structured tents, caravans and cabins. Tankwa Tented Camp makes use of solar power and most of the water is heated by a donkey system. There are no power points in the units. All units have electric blankets and solar lights as well as bed, linen and towels. Guests staying at the campsites should bring their own equipment. Braai facilities are available for all guests, as well as a communal lapa area with dining facilities and fridges.

The restaurant offers breakfast, braai packs and spareribs.

Tankwa Tented Camp is the ideal location to explore the the 3 well-known gravel roads called Gannaga Pas, Ouberg Pas and Tankwa National Park.

Incredibly delicious. It was a very nice place, food was good, beer was cold and brandy special was very nice. This is a gem inni Cape, Rustic.
