Description

Tavistock Country Home is located in the beautiful Hex River valley between the most beautiful mountains on a table grape farm. The house is only an hour and a half's drive from Cape Town, an ideal stopover.

With snow on the mountains in winter and grapes in the vineyards during summertime, guests can experience the beauty of the area all year around. Guests can also visit Aquila Game Reserve and spa with the Big 5 only 30 minutes' drive away.

The guest house comprises 5, luxury, private, air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms and 1 self-catering unit. The first room comprises a double bed and the second room has a queen-size bed. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed. The fourth room has a king-size bed and a bunk bed for 2 more people.

The self-catering unit has 2 single beds and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. There is also a door for private access here.

The rooms also feature a flat-screen TV with DStv channels, a fridge and microwave for heat-and-eat meals, air-conditioning as well as free Wi-Fi, ideal for guests that need to do work during their stay, or those that want to share their experiences on social media. All cutlery required for braai is provided upon request.

The guest house has a large swimming pool for guests' use and braai facilities for quality time spent together.

Guests are also afforded secure parking on the premises during their stay.
