Description

Terning Tides is a charming apartment situated in the historic Bokkomlaan, overlooking the majestic Bergrivier and its abundance of birdlife. The Berg Estuary in the Western Cape has been declared a Ramsar Site under the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance. Guests can enjoy a peaceful retreat in this scenic setting, with excellent restaurants, a well-known coffee shop serving homemade artisan breads, and the famous local bokkom trade all within easy reach.

The apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 small en-suite bedrooms and an open-plan kitchenette leading into the lounge. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite shower. Every room offers views of the river, and crisp white linen and bath towels are provided for guests’ convenience. The apartment is comfortably equipped with the essentials and is most suitable for two guests.

The kitchenette is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge flows onto a large balcony with a dining table, providing the perfect space to enjoy meals while taking in the river views. A TV with a media box is available, allowing guests to sign into their own Netflix or DStv accounts during their stay. Parking is available right outside the apartment or under the shade of the trees in the parking area.

The apartment block features its own jetty, ideal for fishing, mooring a boat, or tying up a kayak. Steps lead directly into the river for swimming, offering guests the opportunity to fully enjoy the riverfront location and the calm, scenic surroundings of Bokkomlaan.
