Description

The Bean Tree provides private yet connected self-catering quarters and courtyards in the small picturesque village of McGregor. The design remit was for accommodation units allowing for maximum flexibility while retaining a connectedness for guests to enjoy a shared vacation.

The accommodation comprises 3 spacious, stand-alone suites, namely Lucky Bean, Ndale and Ugba. The 3 units are connected by a central, partially covered courtyard, and can be rented together or individually. Each suite can accommodate 2 guests and comprises an en-suite bathroom, and a kitchenette with a bar fridge, 1-plate induction hob, tea- and coffee-making facilities, toaster, and microwave. Additionally, Ndale and Lucky Bean have outside showers and Lucky Bean and Ugba have their own private roof terraces.

On the entertainment front, every suite has free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV with Netflix and Chromecast. While DStv is not provided, connections are available for guests to bring their own decoder or simply stream from the DStv now app to the TVs.

There are 3 Weber kettle braai facilities for outdoor braai either undercover in the central courtyard or on either of the flat roof decks of Lucky Bean or Ugba.

The Bean Tree is pet-friendly but unfortunately not child-friendly.
