Enjoyable and peaceful. The Birdhouse is a real little gem nestled at the foot of the mountain in Kampersrus near Hoedspruit. It is a great base to explore from, but also a lovely destination for a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is an utterly charming place. We enjoyed the delicate attention to fine detail with quirky birds all around that pays homage to the very apt name The Birdhouse. The original art on the walls and the colour scheme are tasteful and effective. The place is well equipped and caters for every need. The modern finishes add a lovely upmarket feel. The abundance of real butterflies and birds in the well-planned garden makes your stay all the more enjoyable and peaceful. Lovely attention to fine detail and every comfort that you can wish for. The place is sparkly clean and the hosts were warm and inviting. What a lovely stay.

Fantastic. We had a fantastic stay in a brand new unit. Very comfortable with everything we needed. The hosts are fantastic people, warm and welcoming and very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Ruim en fris, leuke styling. Wij hadden het prima. Erg mooi huis, heel leuke styling. Prachtig uitzicht. Heerlijk terras. Minpuntje: blaffende honden van de buren.

Thank you for the review. Sorry about our neighbour's barking dogs. Sometimes there are porcupines or other animals that cause them to bark more than usual. It was lovely hosting you. You are the perfect guests.

The house was spacious and spotless, with great décor. Theresa and her family were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable.

Pragtige plek met rus vir die siel. Pragtige plekkie waar mens kan rus in 'n baie mooi omgewing. Baie goed toegerus. Sal vir seker weer gebruik maak van The Bird House. Dankie vir jul gasvryheid.
