Description

The Calitz is a charming guest house, situated in the lovely town of Calitzdorp, just 4 hours drive from Cape Town. Calitzdorp is the 'gateway to the Garden Route' and is located on the scenic Route 62. It is also known as the 'Port Wine Capital' of South Africa, and is the ideal stopover for travellers to explore all that the region has to offer.

The guest house offers accommodation in 4 double en-suite rooms, and a 6-sleeper family room which has 2 en-suite bathrooms. Each room features tea- and coffee-making facilities, a fan, and electric blankets, and 3 of the rooms have their own private courtyard.

Breakfast is available on request, at an additional cost to large groups only.

Their guest house has a lounge and dining room with a fireplace, where guests can relax. Guests can take a dip in the plunge pool in the garden, or make use of the braai facilities. Beautiful mountain views can be enjoyed from the garden.
