We had a memorable weekend. We really enjoyed our stay at Poplars Lane. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The host made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We will definitely go back.

Great value and attentive hosts. We recently enjoyed a three-night stay at "The Farmhouse" unit. We planned the road trip 6 weeks in advance, and as luck would have it, we arrived just as a cold front set in, bringing temperatures down to 2°C. Fortunately, our hosts generously provided complimentary firewood, which made our first two nights much more comfortable. The hosts were also accommodating of our request for an early check-in, allowing us to arrive an hour ahead of schedule to find the unit clean, well-prepared, and ready for our stay. Thoughtful touches, such as complimentary coffee beans, rooibos tea bags, sugar, and rusks, added to the welcoming atmosphere. The bedding was fresh, and the towels were exceptionally soft. When we requested extra blankets, our hosts readily provided them, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. Traveling with our dog was a delightful experience, as she thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property. For those visiting with pets, it's worth noting that the property features two rental units, and the garden area is shared between them. Overall, our stay was comfortable and well-managed, thanks to the hosts' hospitality and attention to detail. Considering the price paid, it offered good value, and we would certainly consider returning again once all amenities on the plot are restored and there are more activities.

Amazing stay with beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing holiday. It was away from everything, so we took the time to catch up with ourselves. Beds are super comfy, and hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful views of the mountains.
