Description

The Lark @ De Weiglhuys Farm is an open-plan self-catering studio with a private entrance, covered patio and enclosed garden. The studio is located on a working farm, approximately 6.5 km from Tulbagh town; the farm entrance is centred between the 2 Tulbagh town entrances.

The studio can accommodate up to 2 guests and contains a double bed, a shower en-suite with a toilet, a washbasin, and a galley-style kitchenette. The kitchenette is simplistic but well-equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. There is a ceiling fan for the hot summer days and sufficient blankets for the cold winters. You also have access to Wi-Fi and a TV with OpenView channels. There is no DStv.

The covered patio offers a 4-seater table and chairs to enjoy dining outside. There is also a bench to relax on. The rustic small garden has a cold water shower for the summer and a cosy fire pit for the traditional South African braai. Firewood and braai wood are for sale on the farm.

The property is home to five friendly resident farm dogs that often welcome guests with an enthusiastic jump. Guests may also be fortunate enough to hear or catch a glimpse of the white barn owls that nest in one of the old water tanks on the tower.
